Jahnay Tunkara
Chef Jae established Fuzhen16 in April, 2020. She developed a natural passion for cooking
when she was 14 years of age. Chef Jae always enjoyed her Great Grandmother’s Southern
cooking. Her drive developed when she was faced with the hardship of losing her older brother
when she was 15 years old. This allowed her to discover her natural talent for cooking. She then
started to pursue her dream as a Chef by attending a Community College for Culinary Arts after
graduating from high school via online (home-school). She has worked in several different
restaurants to gain more experience and knowledge. That pushed her to become
career-oriented. This allowed her to create recipes from scratch within the comfort of her
home.The journey continued in spite of the trials and tribulations, which later inspired her own
catering business. With her passion, she brings happiness and comfort to your taste buds that
reminds you of home. She continues to build the Fuzhen16 Empire and works hard to serve her
purpose as a chef.
